The Streets of Barangaroo

Barangaroo used to be a busy industrial site for container ships and small cruise ship terminal. Your guide will describe what the area once looked like before it was turned into the cities largest and most impressing urban development. Walk the streets of Barangaroo before enjoying a collection of delicious Asian bites including dumplings, duck pancake and the most outstanding salt and pepper calamari on the planet at popular waterfront restaurant, Lotus Dining.

Tramsheds

Once a storage and maintenance shed for trams that carried Sydneysiders for decades, enjoy a selection of dishes from the chefs table paired with a variety of local craft beers.
With façade fully intact, enjoy discovering this stunning internal renovation, showcasing a foodie wonderland amongst the ruins of what once formed part of the worlds largest tram network.

Archie Rose Distilling Co.

After traveling through the trendy suburbs of Glebe, Newtown and Alexandria we arrive at the Cannery, Rosebery for a sweet break at Black Star Pastry. Here you will enjoy your choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and a slice of the world famous Watermelon Cake.
Then after a short tour around the precinct, we drop into Archie Rose distillery for a refreshing gin and tonic or freshly squeezed apple and pear juice.

This is definitely one of Sydney's most fabulous hidden gems. Sydney's Urban Winery is beautifully located in the creative Entertainment Quarter and serves up some of New South Wales most outstanding wine. Enjoy a flight of 6 wines elegantly paired with cheese and deli items.

This tour was a real highlight of our recent trip to Sydney.
Our group could have all fitted in one vehicle but we were picked up from our accommodation in two luxurious vehicles so that we had room to be comfortable and really enjoy our day. This is the kind of thoughtful and excellent service that Helen and her staff give you during your tour.
The food and drinks on this tour is AMAZING!! You get a glimpse into the plethora of top shelf eateries that Sydney has to offer without booking months in advance or lining up for hours.
Helen's knowledge of the city and its eateries if inspiring.
I highly recommend you do this tour, you will go hungry and come back with a full stomach and some great knowledge about the city and suburbs.
You will not be disappointed.

Evan was our driver/tour guide and was excellent both in knowledge of Sydney and Restaurants visited. He personally ensured that the 4 of us, 2 from Sydney (myself and a friend) and 2 visitors from Madrid Nigel and Martha (who were on their honeymoon) were looked after. Ultimately Sydney (Helen Fraser - Director - Owner/Founder) has to be commended on the selection and variety of restaurants visited during this tour. From experiencing Traditional Turkish (Anason) in Barangaroo; dining in a tramcar at Tramsheds; Drinking Gin at The Cannery and completing the tour in Spice Alley. Six hours of fun and entertainment. Highly recommended. I will be getting a group together to once again experience this very professional and exciting tour of Sydney.

Great tour to see outer neighborhoods!

I liked that they confirmed the pick up the night before. Our tour was with Helen, founder of the tour, picked us up in a nice small mercedes van. She was running late, but did call to let us know which was appreciated. There were only four of us on our tour which was nice, but not guaranteed. We visited four areas of the city we might not otherwise have seen. We most enjoyed the turkish restaurant in Barangaroo, the host there was wonderful and they fed us enough for a full meal which was all fantastic. We also liked the asian area of the tour and the food there. The wine tasting at the end was disappointing, the person doing our tasting was so soft spoken you could hardly hear her and clearly didn't know much about the wines as every wine she just said it smells "fruity". I would have thought they would offer list of the places we visited or a map of some sort, which has been common on other food tours. There was lots of food, we weren't even hungry for dinner afterwards. Helen picked us up at our hotel and drove us back afterwards, and was a great host. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour!
