Overview

This day out is for your group only and we start by visiting the Eastern Suburbs beaches of Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte, Clovelly and Coogee.

We explore these seashore landscapes by taking two walks along sections of the wonderfully scenic coastal pathway.

The beaches are followed by a visit to the pretty harbour side location of Watsons Bay and the nearby rugged sandstone cliffs at 'the Gap'.

Next stop is Paddington which has historic terrace homes, quaint streets, designer shops and the serenity of Paddington garden reservoir.

At this point it is time for a nutritious lunch prepared by your guide or we can visit a harbour cafe with great views. We will discuss the options prior to the day.

Suitably recharged we head to the quirky and colourful inner city suburbs of Potts Point and Woolloomooloo.

From here we have a selection of choices, including a visit to Barangaroo Reserve or more offbeat places which we discuss prior to or on the day.

What To Expect

Bondi Beach
We explore Bondi Beach by taking a walk along the promenade and then make our way along the popular coastal pathway to the nearby picturesque beaches of Tamarama and Bronte.

Along the way we will walk past the Bondi Icebergs, an Olympic size ocean pool. The pool is used for all year round, and functions as a swimming club for the brave in Winter.

There are great views of these beaches when we hit the Tamarama side of the track.

Tamarama is a beautiful small beach with a large rock platform on its north side and adjoining Bronte beach has a very pretty and popular rockpool and salt water swimming pool.

Next leg is a drive to Clovelly and Coogee beaches where we will do a second walk which allows us to sample more spectacular coastal scenery, including Wedding Cake Island and Gordons Bay.

If the conditions are right the bombora at Gordons Bay may be breaking with a handful of surfers enjoying the waves.

If you are interested there are plenty of safe places to swim or snorkel.
