Bailey's Sydney Tours
Magnificent beaches, great wineries, quaint cool towns, country pubs…

Begin with a drive through the secluded splendour of the Royal National Park, then come upon the spectacular Illawarra coastline (a little Big Sur) and take in the view from Bald Hill, walk the distinctive Sea Cliff Bridge and cruise Grand Pacific Drive in style. Next is the cute coastal town of Kiama with its harbour and blowhole, then on to the wineries of the Shoalhaven to sample their wares before lunch in the beautiful dairy town of Berry. Climbing up the escarpment to the Southern Highlands, we dip through rainforest, into quaint Kangaroo Valley and over historic Hampden Bridge. And finally, the majesty of Fitzroy Falls before heading back to the big smoke

Beauty and history, this tour has beaches, scenery, wineries and plenty of quaint towns and country pubs, if that’s what takes your fancy

Brilliant day out!

We had a great day with Peter today going down the South Coast and back to Sydney via the Southern Highlands. We stopped at three fantastic wineries - Two Figs, Silos Estate and Cherry Tree Hill. On the way we had fantastic views as we travelled along the Grand Pacific Drive and through part of the national park. We stopped for a very good pub lunch half-way, and had a coffee stop with a view in the morning. Would very happily do this tour again. Thanks a lot, Peter!
Sublime Sunday Cruising the Coast & Country roads...

Ahhhh what bliss to be taken to such stunning locations by Peter. The drive through the Royal National Park was just lush before it lead us onto the coast and panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean. From there a quick walk took us over the impressive Sea Cliff Bridge - it's a marvel of engineering stunningly wrapping between the coast and the cliffs. Onto Kiama for harbourfront markets and the famous blowhole to round out the morning.

Berry from here for a classic pub lunch and meander through the local quaint shops. There's something for everyone in this town.

The afternoon was then spent exploring the gorgeous Kangaroo Valley, Fitzroy Falls, and Berrima. All quintessential Aussie places, yet all so unique. Amazing how different the landscape is just an hour or two out of Sydney.

The tour is a lovely way to experience both the country and the coast, there's just no way you'd be able to self navigate this adventure so comfortably or knowledgeably - Bailey's snippets of information and stories made it all so much more enjoyable. We were surprised we'd covered so much ground, and seemingly effortlessly. We didn't feel like we'd been in the van much at all and there were plenty of options for walks and stops - Peter knowing where to get the best coffee, spot a wombat or stop for spectacular views.

I'd definitely recommend organising a tour with Peter - he's easy-going yet so thoughtful like bringing us umbrellas when the rain came on one of our walks. He's exactly the kind of local guide you want. Thanks for a wonderful tour and for keeping us well clear of any nettles!
Sweet Southern Sunday scenes

I had a wonderful day on this tour with a group of friends. Even though I have lived in Sydney all my life, Peter showed us sights I had never seen before. The coastline and view from Bald Hill were spectacular. We loved the walk along Sea Cliff Bridge and the rain and wind did not detract from our enjoyment. Peter was attentive to our needs but never intrusive. He was knowledgeable and happy to answer our numerous questions. The trip was tailored to our wishes and flexible in terms of how long we spent at each stop and where we wanted to stop. We were lucky to experience the Kiama markets on Sunday and there was time to pick up delicious local treats. We had a lovely lunch at Berry, travelled the winding bush road to Kangaroo Valley and then checked out the Fitzroy Falls. This was a perfect way to see the highlights of the South Coast and Southern Highlands. We could relax in the spacious, comfy van, enjoy the sights, our treats and each other’s company whilst Peter did all the hard work. Thank you Peter.

Thanks Peter, exremely friendly, polite and skilled, and a very good driver on top. We drove 400km in one day, together with my elderly dad. It was a pleasure and I look forward to repeat this experience. Thanks Peter!
