Join us for a gastronomic journey suitable for all lovers of good food and drink from the the wine connoisseur to the newly converted, the traditional beer and whiskey drinker or anyone looking for a unique Australian tasting experience.
Tailor the day to your preferences: indulge in premium single estate hand-crafted wine, pair wine with local cheeses or scrumptious canapes, or try something a little daring and match wine with hand made chocolate.
Change direction and try local gin, vodka, bourbon or single malt whiskey, or try a hazy pale ale or pilsner at a craft brewery.
As another option blend your time with a visit to a wildlife park to pat a koala, hand feed kangaroos and to see the unique Tasmanian devil amongst other animals.
Journey with us over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to both the Hunter Valley's main hub of Pokolbin plus the lesser visited roads of Lovedale and Mount View.

Reviews
We managed to visit 4 wineries on the day- Tyrrells, Brokenwood (light lunch there too), Audrey Wilkinson & Viden Wines. To top if off we visited the chocolate factory for a simple tasting.
We had a blast :) not to mention how we were blessed with amazing blue skies and sunny weather on the day.

Ben picked us up from our CBD hotel on time in a comfortable SUV and explained the history of the area on our drive to Hunter Valley.
He is very knowledgeable on almost everything , locations, history or geography as well as the wineries of the Hunter Valley.
We had chosen four wineries we wanted to visit
- Tyrells VIP Premium Tasting Experience was outstanding and set a very high bar for the rest of our trip
- Brokenwood Match Experience. 6 wines with matching canapes was OK but few of the wines were from Hunter Valley and didn't get to taste the best wines
-Lunch was at Il Caciatore - Northern Tuscan lunch. excellent value,
- Peppertree Wines -wanted to do the premium tasting, but this was unavailable. The ordinary tasting was VERY ordinary and the server disinterested, could not recommend this place
-Mt Pleasant Wines Significant Sites Tasting. -lovely refurbished setting, great location and great wines, recommended.
We had asked Ben to try to find some kangaroos and we spent a little time finding them successfully
return journey was spent dozing, I will blame the jet-lag .
