Only an hour away from Sydney, explore bushland and beaches in the national park at Pittwater. Departing from our marina location on kayak, discover the sandy inlets, cliffs and gum trees of the western foreshore of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park – accessible only by water! Kayak around Scotland Island and drift down Salvation Creek past the mangroves, before paddling into secluded Lovett Bay for morning tea. Take in the tranquil surroundings while feasting on a picnic-style spread of fresh fruit and pastries. Choose to take a dip in the inviting waters or pop on your walking shoes for a bush walk among the gum trees. The destination? A hidden rainforest waterfall above Lovett Bay. The guide Justin we had were very enthusiastic and fun. The whole day was so much fun and I would definitely recommend for other people to give it a try. We saw waterfalls and the paddle across Pittwater is so beautiful. I will be back!

Fabulous half day trip in beautiful scenery and easy paddling. Toured a circuit of Scotland Island and had a lunch break at Lovett Bay. Took a 20 minute walk to a lovely tropical waterfall. The guide Justin was very friendly and huge fun.
Fun and active, something different on the weekend.

We had such a beautiful day on Saturday (for May). I did the tour solo with two lovely girls from Orange who were in the double Kayak and our experienced and fit kayaker tour guide Daniel who explained everything beforehand as I had never kayaked before he was full of knowledge about the area also!

We paddled around Scottish Island and then stopped at Little Bay? Dan took us for a look out short bush walk to these beautiful waterfalls, the water was running at these falls, took some photos the view was specular that looked over Pittwater we came back down then had afternoon tea that was provided by Dan just hit the spot it was lovely thankyou Dan and Tanya.

The tour takes you around the Scotland Island and little bay, so if you have never paddled before, or are not particularly fit as I was solo it proved a little exhausting for me coming back, bit hard going as the wind picked up , Dan had to tow me a few times thanks so much Dan for being patient.

I'm glad I didn't do this in summer as it would've been too exhausting for me, nice to do in autumn or spring, highly recommend tour for a local or tourists don't forget to bring your sneakers for the bush walk though.
Would recommend for a beautiful kayaking experience

Had a great time on the water today, would definitely recommend these guys! They are in a great spot, gave excellent service plus had a 2 cute dogs as a bonus! They also gave us advice on how to visit a local waterfall on our kayaking pit stop which was super nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Discovery Kayaking Tour. Prior communication with Paddlecraft was very responsive, informative and uncomplicated, such as change of date, weather conditions, what to wear, parking possibilities etc. Helen and Phil fitted us with life vests and gave us a "dry" introduction to kayaking. All in a very personal pleasent and friendly fashion. On the water, Helen and Phil made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. With various stops on the way, Phil gave very informative and passionate commentry on the Pittwater, the National Park's background, history, aboriginal background, flora and fauna and how to respect this environment. We stopped at a beach for a short and easy walk to the Elvina Waterfalls, again with very informative commentry on flora and bush tucker by Phill, followed by a moring tea break, all included in the tour. We definately recommend this tour. A totally different way to get to know the Pittwater region.
