Join a knowledgeable local guide on a fun walk through the inner-city areas of Pyrmont, Ultimo and Glebe! Often missed by visitors to Sydney, these older neighbourhoods are bursting with stories and hidden gems that even many locals don't know about.

On this walk, you'll learn why there are so many pubs in this part of Sydney, what a "VIP Lounge" is, discover the Aboriginal and early European history of the area and be surprised by our choice for Australia's "national dish". You'll see why this is one of the most multicultural parts of Australia, gain an insight into our sense of humour and find out some Aussie slang along the way.

We'll stop for a coffee at a favourite local cafe mid-way through the walk, and at the end, we finish with a glass of delicious local craft beer at one of the most unique pubs you'll find in Sydney - complete with a talking pet cockatoo! We recommend doing this early in your Sydney stay as you'll get lots of tips to make your time in this city amazing.

Perfect way to spend a Saturday in Sydney
Eva S, 11-12-2022
Brilliant way to explore some of the lesser known areas of Sydney, especially if you are a solo traveller. The mix of people in the group was fantastic and really made you want to get to know your fellow people, Justin's passion for this part of town and the local businesses was catching and really inspiring.
I learnt a lot about areas of Sydney I had not spent much time exploring, loved how we stopped at a local coffee shop I probably would not have looked at without Justin, absolutely adored the pub we finished at and the follow up with Justin's favourite eateries according to food type.
A great morning outside the CBD

My wife and I had a great experience with Justin. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and great to be around. She remarked that he is the type of person with whom you would feel very comfortable as a solo female traveler. During this tour, we saw neighborhoods in Sydney that we would have never visited otherwise. Seeing them was a highlight of our Sydney experience. We're glad we chose this tour and only wish our time in Sydney had allowed us to join Justin on one of his other ones. We highly recommend Local Sauce!

Intimate settings and charming host. Upbeat, informative, funny and friendly! Highly recommend. Don't miss the whiskey bar.
Pleasant and enjoyable

Local guide was very pleasant and he was trying to explain and making his best efforts. Since I am new and had no idea where to go and had good coffee, so this was great choice to explore city within a manageable time and waking.
Decent but Misleading Name

The guide was friendly and professional. He made a special effort to chat with all the participants and make everyone feel included. It was also a good way to meet new people- foreigners living in Sydney and tourists. The name of the tour is a bit misleading. I thought we were signing up for a food tour with at least a couple snacks but we only got a coffee and one small cookie halfway through and then a small glass of beer from a pitcher at the end. I wouldn't have been open to paying so much if I'd know.
