What To Expect

Sydney
The tour begins in Australia’s oldest suburb, The Rocks. Discover the early history of this remarkable precinct, listen to intriguing stories of early European settlers and marvel at how culturally intact the neighbourhood remains from early colonial days.

Discover Macquarie Street, the Domain and ‘Mrs Macquarie’s Chair’ - the best vantage point of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge - and listen to how Lachlan and Elizabeth changed the face of Sydney with their tremendous vision. Photograph iconic Sydney architecture as the commentary reveals interesting stories of Woolloomooloo, Potts Point, and Kings Cross. Cruise through the window-shopping paradise of Double Bay, before taking in coastal views from Watsons Bay and the Harbour’s South Head, with an optional short walk at ‘The Gap’.

Then it’s on to Bondi Beach which provides us with a wonderful opportunity to experience life as a Bondi local. Enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and Australia’s internationally renowned beach, and snap photos of stunning scenery as you stroll part of the famous ‘Bondi to Bronte’ coastal path. Continuing on, we soak up the ambiance of the leafy streets of Woollahra and Paddington before discovering how Darlinghurst went from a hill of windmills to the world-famous home of Sydney’s Mardi Gras. Before completing the tour, witness the vibrant street culture and the entertainment and shopping opportunities of Chinatown, Darling Harbour and contemporary Barangaroo.
