Wentworth Falls

Visit Wentworth Falls, known as one of the most stunning waterfalls in the Blue Mountains. This is where the Jamison Creek drops down over the escarpment and cascades almost 300m into a large pool. Wentworth Falls boasts incredable views and whilst here you have the option to take a guided walk and revel in the areas rich Aboriginal culture.

Kings Tableland is basically the remains of an eroded sandstone layer that sprawls out for around 1,000m just south of the cascading Wentworth Falls. The plateau was named for King George III by the Governor Lachlan Macquarie, a pioneer in the colonisation of Sydney. It is thought the Kings Tableland has been used as an Aboriginal gathering place for more than 14,000 years. Stop at Govett’s Leap Lookout to take in the spectacular view across the Grose Valley. Govett’s Leap Lookout is one of most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. The Blue Mountains is a true natural wilderness, a World Heritage Listed area ten times older than the Grand Canyon and it can be truly appreciated from this vantage point.
