A great way to get around the city. The whole tour start to end is about 2hrs long.

Above and beyond service.
Not only does this offer great value for money but would recommend a two day ticket as there are so many things to see in Sydney.
I was stupid enough to loose my wallet on one of their busses.
I contacted the office and recorded the incident I also spoke to a Driver / Supervisor called Mark who took the trouble to search and find my wallet that evening and contact me to put my mind at rest.
I collected it from a driver by arrangement 0900 next day.
All he staff at Big Bus Sydney are polite cheerful and helpful..

Love Big Bus tours. We only had time to do one of the routes - wish we could have done the one out to the beaches. Bus stops were easy to find with the app. Crew on the ground and driver were very friendly and helpful. Advised us to take the cruise and we were so glad we did. Iconic views of the bridge and opera house. Highly recommend

It was a bit difficult and confusing to locate the bus stops for the blue vs. red route. We wanted to get on the red route but mistakenly got on the blue instead because the buses for blue & red looked the same, but our first driver was very friendly and helpful, he drove us to the correct stop to catch the red. Once you're on the correct route, I'd recommend to stay on it for the whole trip first to check out all the stops and transfers (to the blue/red route), then you can go again and this time get off at the stop that you want. The whole trip takes about 45-50 minutes. I'd also recommend to grab the bus map so you'll have something to reference and plan out your travel. The app worked fine for us and it correctly showed the approximate arrival time of the bus. The audio commentary was good and on point with the scenery. Our third driver for the blue route was an older man with white hair and mustache and he was extremely rude. I read some reviews here mentioned the same so I guess that must be his natural behavior. It didn't bother us for long since we were expecting a rude driver at some point, however, I had hoped that we didn't encounter him. Overall if you ignore people and just enjoy the scenery you'll have a good time.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Sydney near Darling Harbour. The bus passes were able to be purchased at the hotel and the pickup is right behind the hotel. We loved the convenience!
It’s a long ride to do the whole loop around the city. It took between 1.5 to 2 hours to take the whole trip. The trip has a recorded narration and maps of the route are plentiful. The bus was very comfortable and clean. The bus drivers were very friendly and helpful.
The only suggestions and negatives were we were never told which stop we were on the map. It would be helpful if the stop number was given orally so you could follow along on the map that does have numbered stops. If they told you the stop number, you could better find the places in town that you wanted to see.
The second suggestion is to change is the stopping time. The busses run from 10-4. That goes very fast if you hop off to look around or to shop. When it takes two hour to ride the whole route, that doesn’t give much time if you take out the ride time on the bus. It would be great if it ran until at least 6pm.
Overall, we liked the hop-on-hop off bus very much!

Firstly, demand for buses high, and supply low... especially when cruise ships in town. Waiting nearly an hour for next bus is no fun. Bought the 2 day ticket which included fast ferry to manly, went to exchange ticket at circular quay, office on wharf 6 where we told to go was closed, went to big bus office at Quay, asked employee how we could sort this, his response, was don't know and not my problem. Pointed out he was working from big bi's office wearing their uniform so it was his problem. Turned his back and ignored us. Drivers on buses were lovely and cheerful, handy way to get around, but more buses needed and dort out the ticket exchange for manly fast ferry
