Overview

Sip and savour the best of the Southern Highlands wine region, an easy 90 minute drive from Sydney.

The Southern Highlands has developed a reputation as one of the most exciting young wine regions in Australia. Best known for cool-climate varieties, particularly pinot noir, riesling and chardonnay, the area’s winemakers have expanded the range to include lesser-known grapes too.

Even now, as the more established wineries enter their third decade, relative newcomers continue to join the party. And what better way to start a party than with a glass of Southern Highlands bubbles?

During the day sample wines from three of the most highly-rated wineries in the Southern Highlands and enjoy a hearty lunch at Australia’s oldest continuously licensed inn.

We had an absolutely fantastic wine tour of the southern highlands! Steve was the best! We visited three wineries and had a wonderful experience! Our travel buddies were great, and Steve made sure everything went well. A truly memorable excursion! If we are able to return, we will book this again! If you are thinking about booking this tour, do it! You won’t be sorry!!
Fabulous day out!

Fabulous day out! Steve was so professional and lovely from our very 1st contact.
We had booked a private group tour and everything went according to plan. Steve was most personable and had great knowledge of the area. One of my friends has limited mobility and was not sure if she was going to be able to get on and off the bus but Steve arrived early to assist her in testing this out and thankfully it wasn’t an issue for her.
Touring the lovely vineyards of the Southern Highlands in Steve’s van was a luxury and just made for a glorious day out. I would highly recommend Steve and his Sip n Savour tour.

I booked the Sip N Savour Premium Wine Bus Tour day trip for myself, my wife and 7 friends. As a private tour we were all picked up on-time by our driver Steve in a new Mercedes Van at a pre-agreed location near our homes. Steve was a fantastic driver and host for the day. He was very knowledgeable, witty, always relaxed but also very organised to ensure that we visited each of the planned 3 wineries and pub lunch in the Southern Highlands. The booking process was also really simple with each couple being able to book and pay separately which ensured that nobody owed anyone else money for the trip. The automated reminder alerts also made sure that everyone knew the date and pickup time for the tour! This really is an incredible value experience especially with the NSW Discovery voucher matching offer, lunch, a drink with lunch and a bottle of wine per person (valued at $50 per person)! The van ride was really smooth and the van itself was spotlessly clean. Steve encouraged lots of laughter during the trip and everyone had a really enjoyable time. This is a highly recommended tour for any Sydneysider who wants to discover some amazing wineries hidden right on Sydney's doorstep!
Great value!

Had a great day out with Steve for the sip & savour winery tour yesterday. Great guide, great group of people, and some great wines. Lunch and the town we stopped in was fantastic too. Highly recommended, well worth the price for a full day out.
An outstanding southern Highlands wine your experience.

Had an excellent day. Steve was a fantastic guide. He was funny, friendly and professional. The bus was comfortable and modern. The vineyards we experienced were all delightful, with delicious wines and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Lunch was great, a large pub style meal and a lovely atmosphere. A five star experience that I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and strangers.
