Possibly my favourite place in Sydney

The Chinese garden of friendship is truly amazing, what a beautiful place to visit in the heart of Sydney.
We were out looking for somewhere to grab some food when we came across the gardens and decided to go in and wait to eat later!
Worth every penny, very reasonably priced at $12 each you free to stroll around at your leisure, stop, sit and just enjoy the tranquility of the gardens.
The gardens are so relaxing and tranquil, we would have spent longer but
a security guard came to find us and tell us the gardens were closing!
Well worth a visit, one not to be missed.
Picturesque and Serene

Well worth visiting, a picturesque oasis in Darling Harbour, serene and tranquil gardens, perfect symmetry. A couple of buildings closed to the public when we visited, seems a favored location for weddings by members of the Chinese community. The architecture and design of the gardens lend themselves to a bounty of photo opportunities. Lovely water features, including the inhabitants, waterfowl, koi and the assorted lizards.
Perfect Place to Relax

We went here after a day of traveling. It was a much needed break in our day. It’s a lovely place to sit and relax surrounded by gorgeous scenery and lots of adorable lizards!
Quiet calming refuge in the heart of the city.

Very well maintained garden. Pity I missed the azalea blooming season, but it was still nice. They've put in some extra safety features since the last time I was there, such as grippy things on the rock steps which is good. Lots of interesting views for taking photographs. The koi fish and various waterfowl are always a pleasure to watch.
Stunning Surroundings

An absolute gem. This picturesque oasis is a must-see for anyone keen to escape the noise of the city for a little while. The architecture is inspiring; the tranquil waters are calming; and the bearded dragons are real characters. A treat.
